Putting a Democracy in Place - Speech

Jerry
Welcome delegates from Cuba! The United States is here today to cooperate, and inform you of the most recent type of successful government. We're here to help you put in place a Democracy! As your neighbors from above, we only want what's best for you, and we insist that putting a democracy in place will keep everyone in Cuba happier!

Dictatorships are tyrannical and oppressive, they don't represent their people, and are rigidly controlled. If you take a look around, which citizens seem to be happier; Iraqis, or Americans? Americans are happier! Americans have setup a democracy, meaning that all people have equal rights, and are allowed to participate in the government! Why continue this over-powerful government, and keep your people miserable?!

Democracy, on the other hand, represents its people! Elections aren't rigged, and people are all equal when it comes to voting, and following the laws. All people are treated equally in all aspects of life. Our government is balanced, meaning that not just one person rules. We have a system of checks and balances to keep one branch of our government from getting too powerful and taking control; like in a dictatorship. More importantly, we give our people to the right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!" People have the right to live, without other people interfering, and are allowed to be free and pursue any form of happiness they're interested in, so long as it doesn't interfere with the freedom of other citizens.

Why would you want to continue having a dictatorship, when your citizens are nowhere near as happy as their full potential rests? Putting a democracy in place will keep your people much happier, and will balance out the economy along with the power in the government. So once again, good luck putting your new democracy into place, and writing your new constitution. We'd be happy to assist you along the way.
