Putting God First in Your Life

As Christians, we are commanded to always have to put God first in our lives. Being a Christian means putting God above everything else. When Christians put God first in their lives, they make God their number one priority. Christians devote their lives to God and live according to his will. Only when we follow the will of God can we get into the kingdom of heaven. As Christians we must believe that God will take care of everything for us when we put him first.

God commands all Christians to put him first in our lives, but he doesn't give Christians the authority to tell others they'll go to hell if they do not put him first. Only God can rightfully tell a person that they're going to hell. This means that Christians can't judge others for their lifestyle choices, or God is going to judge us the same way.

It's a personal decision to put God first, and it's the most important one we'll ever make. God gives us all free will, but he gave it to us with a price. God gives us free will because he wants us to choose to put him first. God doesn't want to force anyone, so he gives everyone the option to put something or someone else first. God leaves the decision up to us, but he will make us face the consequences for our decisions. If we're not putting God first, we're not living according to his will. If God is second or third instead of first, God will keep us out of Heaven.

One of the main reasons people don't put God first is because they don't feel worthy of a relationship with God. The truth is that we are all sinners, but God still loves us and wants to be first in our lives. God's love is unconditional, and he'll love you even if you don't put him first in your life. However, God deserves to be first in our lives, and putting God first in our lives means repenting to be forgiven of our sins.

When we put God first in our lives, it means that everything revolves around him. While many people want to believe that it means making time for God, it really means finding time for other things within your scope of time with God. It's easy for us to become distracted by things like relationships, work, family, friends, and taking care of our household chores so we must pray for God to take all these distractions away from us so that we can stay focused on him.

Only God can say whether or not we've really put him first, so we shouldn't worry about what others think, we should worry about what we think of ourselves. It is up to us to decide where God is in our lives. If God is first in our lives, everything else will be less important. Putting God first in our lives means he is always our main priority. When we put God first in our lives, everything is based around him.

Putting God first in your life means that you're totally committed to him and continuously honor that commitment. When God is first in your life, everything else is going to be on the backburner. Putting God first in your life require lots of dedicated and devotion, but God is totally dedicated and devoted to you. When you put God first in your life, everything else is going to fall into place. In fact, Proverbs 3:5,6" tells us to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
