Puzzles Under God and the Beauty of His Creations

See the Synchronicity

Justin Steckbauer
In the dark tonight. Feel like I've been swallowed by a whale. Still, there is some kind of magic here. I can't place it particularly. It lifts off the couches and desks and floats away, to fall again later. As they say, these things happen, but in patterns.

Perfect patterns, in fact. I can watch them. Only fools could miss them. And we've all had moments when we realize, just for an instance, the complete and utter synchronicity of the universe and God's plan. It all makes complete sense for one moment. That moment is enough, or at least it should. But time passes and for some reason that alludes me, we tuck the experience away as unimportant, a lie, a quiet rumor, as if nothing important had happened. We continue to question the existence of something more.

I lived this way for years.

Tonight I'm watching it in the darkness as I write these words in the night. It's everywhere. In the air, like unending falling snow. Ideas come and go. People say words that remind us of places far away.

Sometimes I have moments when I realize the beauty of it and I just want to explode with happiness, or fall down and cry with joy. I am gifted to see and experience these things.

Who could make sense out of any of it? There are so many questions one could waste a thousand life times looking for the answers. But there are questions worth asking, and ideas worth pondering out there. Don't write it all off because the maximum can't be understood.

Train yourself to watch for the beauty of God's creation every day. Watch for the synchronicity of events and interactions between people. Simply watch the skyline and the stars at night. Watch the trees sway in the wind and the wheat glow in the sunlight. God has given us so much. I humbly suggest we see and appreciate it.
