This is part of the security issue that women have to feel. Trust is major in marriage, especially with security. We have to feel safe emotionally, physically and spiritually with our husband. We have to trust that you will make the right decisions for the family and most importantly a man must have a vision for his family. A woman feels safe and secure knowing that you have a good plan for her future. When she marries you, she trusts that you do. This is very important!
1. To be committed to your family is one of the most important needs that a woman has. You have to learn how to balance career, family along with everything else. This can be accomplished and make sure that you communicate these things to her. It is important that she is reassured that you have it under control.
Think of this: Not having a vision and following through with affirmations and ambition towards goals, she will feel like you have left her out at sea with no paddles to get back to shore. It's lonely and trust is lost very quickly.
In this day and age we can honestly say that both woman and men work to make ends meet. However, most women frown upon a man who doesn't make a living. She should not be the sole provider unless her career allows her to be. In other words, if she "chooses" to be a Business Administrator or CEO of a huge firm, because this is her career and you agreed when you asked her to marry you, she brings more money in, that is ok. It doesn't mean you can sit home and play PS2 all day with your Scrub buddies. Another thing is she shouldn't have to work 2 minimum wage jobs to make ends meet. It's highly recommended that before you ever even ask a lady to marry, you should have a job or career. She needs to know that you will provide.
2. Being a provider is equal to her keeping your home nice and trusting that she will always be there to make love to you when you need it. It's that trust bond. If it is ever lost, it is hard to regain.
Let's talk about what we now know to be needs of a woman. She needs for you to talk to her. Conversation is something woman have to have and she will find it if she can't have it with you. Be nice and open up to her. Initiate the conversation, say about her work day. Ask her how her day was. Be affectionate and when she tells you it was rough, offer to rub her shoulders. See how it goes? These are all women's needs. Conversation, Affection, Openness.
She needs security all the way around. This is also very important in marriage. She has to feel safe and secure with you in all aspects of her life. That is to be a good and loving husband and dad, a provider, listener, affectionate man and Godly leader. Also remember, the Lord doesn't tear down good things, He builds them. Make her feel like Jesus makes us feel.
