Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Mask - A Great Peel Off Mask with a Small Price Tag

A Great Peel Off Mask with a Small Price Tag

Recently, I decided that I wanted to try a different kind of facial mask. Normally, I use a clay mask but I thought that my skin needed something a little different from time to time. Many years back I had tried a peel off mask and it felt like I was ripping my skin off when it came time to remove it. So naturally, I was a little bit leery of trying another peel off mask. Finally, I decided to be brave and give it another chance. Since my favorite clay mask is made by Queen Helene I decided to see if they had any peel off masks that I could try. Sure enough, I found that they do have a peel off product - Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Mask. The product promises the following:

Cleans clogged pores

Softens facial lines

Soothes and tones skin

Dead skin cells can clog pores making skin appear older. Grape seed is well known as an antioxidant that contains

Pycnogenol, a natural skin purifier that will help deep clean, tighten and refine your skin.

The mask, like other Queen Helene products, was inexpensive at $2.99 and at the price it was worth trying! The directions on the package instruct you to spead evenly over a clean face and neck avoiding the eyes, eyebrows and hairline. You need to wait 10 minutes or until completely dry before removing. To remove you start at the jaw line and peel upwards.

I applied the mask as instructed. The gel is thick and a little gooey. It is lavender in color and smells mostly like grapes but there is a slight alcohol scent. I will warn you that avoiding the eyebrows and hairline is easier said than done and I have gotten some mask in my eyebrows before. This is not a big problem, but you do need to use warm water and scrub to get it out.

For me, the mask took closer to 15 minutes to dry. When it came time to peel it off, I was a little nervous. I followed directions and began peeling at the jaw line. To my surprise, it did not hurt at all! The mask peeled off relatively easily with no pain. My face felt refreshed and there was a glow to my skin right after I peeled off the mask. The mask did not dry out my skin and overall, my skin felt clean and fresh.

I am pleased with my experience with the Queen Helene Grape Seed Extract Mask and I will use it again in the future. If you're looking for a good peel off mask that will not hurt, this is the a good one to try.

It's funny what the good old grape can do! Now the grape seed extract can also fight certain cancer cells. By making cancer cells commit suicide! Yep i just had the article published and saw yours in the 'You might also like!'

    Good write up btw!
