The King and Queen now up the pace
Obama's losing precious ground
And Clinton claims her victory found
I claim this land Obama reigns
Clinton plants the flag again
With 10 Obama has the lead
For Texas, Hillary has the need
They're cheering her, They're cheering him
Which one will lose, which one will win
They race around in such a lather
To voting polls the people gather
Would this one win, would that one slide
Which press, which powers on their sides
The news blows all in large proportions
Reporters creating word contortions
Gaining and then losing ground
Cheering loud, then barely sound
On exiting the press takes polls
I'm voting her, I'm voting him
Make up your mind, which one will win
Our heads are in a dizzy spin
Clinton has begun to ooze
Tearful eyes, oh no she'll lose
Obama moves a little faster
Cameras print photo disasters
Hillary sites her wisdom learned
Under William's office earned
Each one claims the other found
Less skill, no knowledge, so profound
All the best and all the worst
Which will come in voting first
Obama races up the lane
Clinton's going slow again
The race is almost nearly run...
Oh look the next one has begun!

Thank you for your very entertaining poem. As scary as Hillary is, sometimes you have to take a step back and laugh at the whole thing. Otherwise you run the risk of becoming as loony as this political circus.
I wish I could Pooh Pooh this, but I can't.
very cute! :)
LOL...... funny :)
This was fun to read! I can't figure out why, but this is my favorite line

Definitely agree with Queen Hillary or the Mother Superior wanting to take over on Papa King Bush's throne. Obama is the people's president hardly deigning kingship. That role belongs to the Republicans. Romney's drop out speech is he wants to unify Republicans so "Obama and Clinton don't take the White House" I think he believed that 'dream ticket' press garbage and speculation. How is he unifying Republicans? One of them will get the bid from their party. The White House does not belong to the Republicans nor to Hillary and the 1/2 impeached ex-president. Why was she allowed to run is beyond me and accounts for Obama's popularity~government of for and by the people. First time in my long life I heard a politician say we pay his salary. How refreshing is that. He wants to work for us, not rule and dictate like "mandate~garnish wages' Hillary and "it would be easier if this were a dictatorship and I was dictator" and executive priv Bush.
Send it off to NEW YORK TIMES...L.A . TIMES.....that was a great poem......!
Fun poem. I love that it was inspired by Milne.
This is really interesting. I never thought about the candidates this way. Great poem.
