Queen Latifah, the Latest in Hollywood to Be Labeled 'Gay'? (PHOTOS)-- Alicia Keys on Yacht with Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah, 40, may be the latest in a long line of Hollywood celebrities to make the "Are they, or aren't they"? gay list circulating in mainstream media of late. Queen Latifah pictures in the Daily Mail show the actress in a close embrace with her personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins on a yacht the two are enjoying in France. And Alicia Keys, pregnant and 29, is on board as well, along with her new music-producing husband Swizz Beats.

Keys and Swizz Beats are on their honeymoon, according to the Daily Mail, with Alicia seen sunning on the yacht's top deck, not hiding her growing baby budge as she sports a white two-piece bathing suit and chatting up Queen Latifah in one picture.

No word on why a honeymooning couple would invite two females to gate crash their lovey dovey private time. An odd thing to do in our culture, for sure. In fact, I'm not sure if any culture encourages inclusion of others for honeymoon time.

But lest anyone wonder if this is also an odd marriage, Latifah isn't pictured getting a 'little closer' with Alicia Keys or Swizz Beats. Queen Latifah is shown in the Daily Mail photos getting closer to her personal trainer Jeanette instead, with Jeanette's hand resting a little possessively on the larger star's rump during the image-captured embrace.

If Queen Latifah is attempting to test the waters of her fan base from afar, gauging their reaction to a possible homosexuality disclosure later, I'd say she is about to find out what they think of that once these pictures make the rounds in the U.S.

Word on the internet is the move would not be welcomed. Queen Latifah has played the dumped girlfriend in some of her movies--and the woman who gets her man (think Bringing Down the House)--for a reason: Hollywood knows the majority of Americans are heterosexual. Queen Latifah isn't famous for doing woman with woman movies for a reason, so folks seeing Queen Latifah on a yacht in an embrace with another woman is not going to help promote her new movie.
