Going on an interview can be nerve wracking. When going on an interview though, it is best to be prepared so that you know what you to say. Here are a few questions that your potential employer may ask you when you are being interviewed.

1. Why should I hire you? Make sure to say the positive things about yourself that would make someone want to hire you. For example, you could say that you have a positive attitude and that you are dedicated to what you do.
2. Why did you chose this occupation?
3. What are your major strengths?
4. What are your weaknesses? Sometimes an interviewer will want to know your weaknesses as well. Tell them and be honest. They will appreciate your honesty.
5. How would other people describe you? Ask people around you to give their honest opinion describing you and your personality. This way you have an idea of how people would describe you.
6. Why did you leave your last job? If you did not like your last job, you don't have to say you didn't like it. You could say that the job was a dead end position. You felt there was no room for advancement or growth in that field.
7. What did you like least about your last job?

There are also questions that you may want to ask the employer. It will help you decide if you really want the job you are interviewing for and also help to show the interviewer that you are interested in the job. Here a few questions to ask your potential employer to learn more about the position for which you have applied.

1. What kind of benefits do you offer and when would they start?
2. What is the dress code?
3. Do you give an increase passed on performance?
4. What is the working schedule for this position?

It is not guaranteed the interviewer will ask those questions but I hope these questions will help you when you are on an interview. If you answer them now and prepare yourself, you might calm some of your anxiety and it may help you to speak better because you are prepared and know what to say. Good luck!
