Quick Chocolate Fudge Sauce

1 (6 oz) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Heat together chocolate chips and syrup over hot water (or double boiler), stir until smooth ) (this also can be melted in the microwave with out using water).

Stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth. Use hot or cold. Makes 1 1/2 cups of sauce. After being stored in the refrigerator it may need thinning with 2 Tbsp. milk.

Can be used on ice cream or as a hot fudge sauce over cake or dessert.
