Quick and Easy Bean Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

1 15 oz. can refried beans
2 Tbls. Salsa or picante sauce (Use more or less, depending on your taste)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey jack cheese or combination of both (Use more or less, depending on your taste)

Place refried beans in microwave safe dish. Add salsa or picante sauce. Stir. Add cheese. Stir again. Cover and heat in microwave for 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute. (Cooking time will vary depending on type of microwave.) Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.

Makes approximately 4 to 6 servings

Quick and Easy Guacamole Dip Recipe

1 ripe avocado (should be soft to touch)
¼ tsp. bottled lime juice or use fresh lime and squeeze in juice from 1 or 2 small wedges of lime
1 Tbls. Salsa or picante sauce

Peel avocado. Cut avocado into small chunks. Mash with fork until pieces are broken up completely. Add lime juice. (Lime juice adds a yummy taste and helps keep the dip from turning brown.) Stir. Add salsa or picante sauce. Stir again. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.

Makes approximately 2 to 4 servings.
