Easy Chicken Pot Pie
This recipe takes less than 10 minutes to throw together and is a great meal for a busy night. It's rich, creamy, and a quick comfort food that uses two types of Campbell's Condensed Soups. You'll need the following ingredients:
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 potato (peeled and diced)
- ½ bag of frozen peas and carrots
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can of milk
- ½ can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
- Salt & pepper
In a small saucepan boil the peas, carrots and potatoes until tender. Drain and pour in a large mixing bowl. Sauté chicken breasts and onions in a skillet until cooked. Drain and add to the mixing bowl with the soup, milk and seasoning. Stir. Pour mixture into a shallow baking dish. Remove the crescent rolls from the packaging. Slightly flatten each one and place on the top of the baking dish . Arrange so that all the crescent rolls are touching one another, forming a crust. Place, uncovered, in a 400 degree oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Green Bean Casserole
This casserole is a staple in our home for holiday meals. It wouldn't be Thanksgiving or Christmas without the traditional Green Bean Casserole! It's great with a regular dinner too, though. Serve it with chicken, steak, or at a community potluck. It's always well received. You'll need the following ingredients:
- 2 cans French-style green beans
- 1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
- ½ cup milk
- Salt & pepper
- 1 ½ cup French's Fried Onions
Stir together all ingredients (except ½ cup of fried onions). Top with remaining fried onions and bake uncovered at 350 for 25 minutes. A popular variation to this Campbell's recipe is to add ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture before baking.
Amazing Pork Tenderloin
I tasted this delicious pork tenderloin at a family dinner and assumed it was made with a complicated recipe. The meat literally fell apart as I ate it, and even by kids (who are typically picky eaters) cleaned their plates! Little did I know how easy this amazing dish was to throw together and how very few ingredients it took to make it. You'll only need four ingredients!!!
- Pork tenderloin
- Salt & pepper
- 1 can Campbell's Cream of Celery Soup
- ½ can of water
Anyone (and I mean ANYONE) can make this dish! All you do is season the meat with salt and pepper and put it in a crock pot. Pour the Campbell's soup over the meat and add water to the empty can. I use ½ can of water. Stir the water in the can to get out any remaining soup and pour it over the meat. Cover and cook in the crock pot for about 8 hours. In the beginning, you'll think you haven't added enough liquid, but it will be fine. As it cooks, the soup will dilute and it will cover the tenderloin.
Quick & Tasty Meatloaf
After a long hard day, you don't want to spend a lot of time fussing over dinner. But you still want to serve something everyone will enjoy. This meatloaf recipe uses a can of condensed soup and a few other ingredients, and cooks up in no time flat. you'll need the following ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 can Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg (beaten)
- ¾ cup Italian-Style bread crumbs
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
Mix together all ingredients (omitting 1 cup of soup and the milk). Form into a loaf and bake at 350 for 1 hour. While the meatloaf cooks, combine the remaining soup and milk in a saucepan. Simmer the mixture on very low heat for about 15 minutes. When the meatloaf is done, add 2 - 3 tablespoons of the dripping and simmer another 5 minutes. Pour over the meatloaf and serve.
