Are you looking for a quick and easy corn chowder recipe? This recipe is a little different, combining the traditional corn with cheese for a corn and cheddar chowder that tastes so good on a cold evening. The best part is that it is inexpensive to prepare and takes less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

2 cans whole kernel corn, drained.
2 cans cream-style corn (undrained)
3 cups water
1 16 ounce container sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
sprinkle of nutmeg
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 teaspoons of sugar
sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese
Tortilla Chips as garnish

Instructions:

1. Add corn, water, and all seasonings except Parmesan Cheese. Bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat, and add sour cream. Stir until mixed.

3. Add cheese. Cook on low, stirring often until cheese is well-melted.

4. Serve with broken tortilla chips and a sprinkle or Parmesan Cheese.
