You don't have to spend a lot of money to have beautiful Christmas table decorations. Some of the supplies you need may be laying around the house. These quick and easy homemade Christmas table decorations will have everyone smiling.

Quick and Easy Homemade Christmas Table Decorations: Festive Christmas Candle Holder

This festive Christmas table decoration will spread a warm glow and bring Christmas cheer to the dinner table this year. The reflective surface of the CD makes it the perfect base to use for this homemade table decoration for Christmas.

Things You'll Need:

-Old CD

-Felt

-Glue gun or craft glue

-Votive candle

-Garland

-Sprigs of holly

-Mini bells

-Beads(gold, silver, blue)

-Optional: potpourri, thin ribbon, mini wreath, evergreens

Trace around the old CD onto the piece felt. Cut out the circle and glue the felt to the printed side of the CD, with the shiny side facing up. Glue the votive candle in the middle of the CD. Put a thin line of glue around the outer edge of and secure the garland. Decorate garland with sprigs of holly, mini bells and small beads. Other ideas to consider are; using potpourri and ribbon to decorate the garland, use a mini wreath or evergreens for the outer edge and decorate. Make as many of the Christmas candle holder table decorations as you need.

Quick and Easy Homemade Christmas Table Decorations: Cinnamon Pine Cone Basket

To lend your table an elegant touch and a homey cinnamon scent, this Christmas table decoration is perfect.

Things You'll need:

-Willow or wicker basket

-Hot glue gun or craft glue

-Artificial pine garland

-Pine cones, small to medium size

-Cinnamon Sticks

-Scissors

-Artificial Christmas flowers

-Ribbon, medium width

-Holly

-Cinnamon pine cones

-Candy, dried flowers, potpourri

Glue the pine garland around the rim of the basket. Take a cluster of two to three pine cones and glue them on the garland, leaving about an inch between pine cone clusters. Between each pine cone cluster, glue two cinnamon sticks at an angle.

Clip the stems of the artificial Christmas flowers to about an inch long. They should be just long enough to stick into the pine garland. Add a little glue to the stem if they fall to the side. Make two bows with the ribbon, put a dot of glue on the back and attach to each side of the basket on the outside. If your basket has a handle, tie the ribbon around the handle into a bow.

Fill the basket with cinnamon pine cones. You can also fill the basket with candy, potpourri, or a mixture of most anything you like for this homemade Christmas table decoration.

Quick and Easy Homemade Christmas Table Decorations: Holiday Candles

Use holiday paper napkins to make Christmas candles that matche your table settings.

Things You'll need:

-Large white candles

-Printed paper napkins

-Modge Podge decoupage solution

-Foam brush

-Gold or silver paint marker

Cut out the printed design on the napkins. If you're using two-ply napkins peel apart the layers to only the layer with the design on it. Decide if you want the design near the top, in the middle or top and bottom. Use the Modge Podge to apply the design to the candle, and let it dry. Apply several coats of solution over the entire candle, allowing it to dry between coats. Trace around parts of the printed design with the metallic paint marker. Add other touches of metallic paint to enhance the napkin design.

    Karen I have stacks of cd's that were never used -- now I use flash drives to copy things. And they are shiny! Thanks for the good ideas for using them. I tried to make afabric Christmas tree and use the cd's for ornaments, but they don't look good hanging, the holes in the center begin to look like eyes. But your idea makes me think of using them almost like mirrors, under things wOOHOO.
