20 ounces Pizza sauce
Three 16 ounce segments of raw dough Dough
20 ounces Finely shredded pizza cheese
1/8 to 1/2 cup per ingredient Pepperoni, ham, peppers, onion, sausage, pineapple or other toppings

Directions for Quick and Easy Home-Made Super Bowl Pizza

1
Preparation
Grease three 14-inch pans with shortening. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.Set the dough out on the counter and bring it to room temperature if it has been refrigerated.
2
Toppings
Slice or dice any topping ingredient such as onions, ham and sausage into pieces. Place on a plate and set aside.
3
Dough
Stretch the ball of dough by running it between your thumbs and fingers in a circular motion. Keep the dough moving as it stretches out. Pat the dough out into the pan, being careful to stretch it without tearing it. Press the dough outward toward the pan edge.
4
Sauce and Cheese Layers
Spread about 6 ounces of pizza sauce over the pizza dough with a large spoon until it is entirely covered. A thin layer of sauce is sufficient.Top the sauce with an even layer of finely shredded pizza cheese. 6 to 7 ounces of cheese will cover one14-inch pizza.
5
Toppings
Sprinkle the cheese topping with ground black pepper or pizza seasoning. Scatter pepperoni, fresh vegetables, mushrooms, sausage or favorite toppings onto the cheese.
6
Bake
Set the pan on the center of the middle rack in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Begin to check for bubbling cheese and sauce after 15 minutes as oven temperatures vary. The bubbling material will settle back down to the pan and the topping will be slightly golden when done. If unsure, life the pizza edge with a spatula and check to see that the crust is lightly brown underneath. Prepare the next pizza while the first one is baking. The second pizza will not take as long to bake as the oven maintains a steady temperature.
Tip
Home-made dough and pizza sauce or store-bought ingredients are fine for this recipe.Three pizzas can be made for the price of one at a commercial establishment.

What a perfect way to make a vegetarian pizza. We have a problem finding inexpensive ones with all the toppings we love...and have on hand!
