The easiest, with the least preparation, is going to be simple Fruit Punch. Very red, very sugary, and a kid favorite. Purchase in your favorite brand, and either serve over ice, or chilled from the fridge. You can't go wrong. A variation, of course, is red sports drinks, which can also be purchased premade. You can even go with a red soda (aka ""soft drink""), just be careful, because some sodas are made with caffeine. If this is an issue, make sure to check the ingredients, which will list caffeine, and is easy to avoid.
Simple to prepare would be a red variation of Kool-Aid, like a strawberry or cherry. Simply follow the powdered ingredient's instructions, and you're ready to go. It's simple, it's red, and what kid doesn't like Kool-Aid?
Cranberry juice can be served alone, as a juice, or as an ingredient with a bubbly lemon-lime drink, like Sprite or 7-Up, or even Cherry 7-Up. Since cranberry juice can be an acquired taste, it may go over better with kids to serve it as an ingredient, and it's still going to give that fun red color.
Always a refreshing favorite, you could go with strawberry lemonade. Make with a pink lemonade and fresh sliced strawberries. If you'd like it more red (and sweeter) you can flavor with grenadine syrup. Or make a homemade lemon-strawberry syrup reduction and make the lemonade the old fashioned way, which is more preparation intensive, but allows you to better control quality and color.
A cold, fun, and festive drink would be a virgin (aka ""non-alcoholic"") strawberry daiquiri. You can buy frozen strawberry daiquiri mixes and make them as instructed in a blender, just leaving out the alcohol. Top with fresh slice strawberries and/or whip cream, and you'll have an instant party favorite.
It doesn't have to be fancy, and can be a simple as you desire. As long as it's cold, refreshing, and non-alcoholic (of course), you are good to go!
