Quick and Easy Makeup for After the Workout

Angela S.
The best next step after a workout at the gym or an intense PE class is a shower. For women and ladies on the go, that's not always possible. And yet, most of us wouldn't want to walk around with a face glistening with sweat. So if you don't have time to prep and primp after your workout, check out these quick and easy makeup steps. They won't get you ready for a night out, but they'll get you ready to step out of the locker room.

Facial Wipe

The first thing to do is clean your face of sweat, dirt, and grime. Use facial clarifying or cleansing wipes that won't dry out, sting, or irritate your face. There are many options out there, some cheaper than others. Whatever you use, make sure that it is made to be used for the face.

Concealer

Dab concealer on blemishes or dark spots on your face. I use a concealer that comes with a wand for precise application. Usually, I use a concealer brush to blend in the product. However, I can also use my fingers, which is faster when I'm on the go.

Powder

Unless you use a foundation and powder in one, skip the foundation. You haven't properly washed your face. Using foundation at this point could clog your pores. It also takes up time, which you don't have. Skipping the foundation is also a good technique in hot summer days when you're sweating away. It ensures that you won't have a streaky face due to melting makeup.

Eyeliner

A little eyeliner can quickly brighten up and enhance your eyes. Using a retractable eyeliner makes this step even faster because you don't have to worry about sharpening blunt eyeliners or having to handle pots and brushes.

Lipgloss or Tinted Lipbalm

Finish of your look with a pop of color from a lipgloss or tinted lipbalm. This will brighten and liven up your face so you don't look as tired as you might be after a workout.

Maybe you just finished PE class, and have only five minutes to get to the next class. Maybe don't have a lot of time between the gym and your next errand. With these quick and easy makeup steps, you don't have to look tired and sweaty to your next destination.
