Barbie Crafts
If your kids like Pizza Hut Cheese Sticks, they will like this quick and easy meal idea. Cheese Sticks and Marinara Sauce are a family favorite, regardless of the age. Here is an easy and cheap way to make these at home with very little effort! You can fix Cheese Sticks and Marinara Sauce faster than the pizza delivery guy can get there!

Ingredients:

1 Pillsbury Pizza Crust in a can, Classic Style

Shredded Italian cheese: 1 1/2 cups

Garlic and onion Powder

1 can Delmonte Diced Tomatoes Seasoned with Garlic, Basil, and Oregano

Canola Oil

Red Wine Vinegar

Sugar

Directions:

Cheese sticks:

Preheat oven according to directions on the Pillsbury Pizza Crust Can.

Grease an 8" by 8" baking pan.

Open the Pillsbury Pizza Crust and unfold into the pan.

Sprinkle liberally with garlic powder and onion powder.

Sprinkle cheese over top.

Again, sprinkle garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper.

Bake according to pizza crust directions. There is no way I can give you an exact time because of differences of oven temperature. Watch the cheese sticks carefully while they cook.

I cooked mine at 425 for around 8 - 10 minutes.

Marinara Sauce:

With a Potato masher, mash the diced tomatoes. Add 2 teaspoons canola oil, 2 teaspoons dried minced onions, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Stir well, and chill.

Slice the Cheese Sticks to get the square cheese sticks like Pizza Hut. Serve marinara sauce in a little bowl on the plate to dip into.
