Sweet Potato Casserole Main Ingredients:
4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon (use only if you like a cinnamon taste)

Sweet Potato Casserole Toppings:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup of marshmallows (add once you pull the Sweet Potato Casserole out of the oven)
Sweet Potato Casserole Preparation:
You should combine and mix the main ingredients and then pour into a buttered casserole dish. You need to use a mixer when mixing the main ingredients to make it smooth and easy to pour into the casserole dish. Make sure the ingredients are spread evenly throughout the casserole dish before pouring on the topping.
Then you must mix the Sweet Potato Casserole topping ingredients together. Once you have the topping ingredients mixed up place it on the main ingredients before placing in the oven. Bake the Sweet Casserole dish at 375 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes, until hot and browned. One you pull out of the oven place some marshmallows on top and this will provide a little pizzazz to the Sweet Potato Casserole. Serve hot so that the flavors can be enjoyed.
This batch of Sweet Potato Casserole will serve about 6 to 8 people so you might want to create a couple dishes to keep your family and friends with enough to enjoy. It's amazing that this dish is mostly served around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but you can make it anytime throughout the year because it goes well with many dishes.
