Quick and Easy Symphony Dessert Bar for the 4th of July

Amy Kay
This is an extremely easy and delicious dessert to celebrate any occasion. It's great for a 4th of July celebration, as you can arrange the fruit on top to look like an American flag.

Ingredients:

2 Large Symphony Bars
2 8oz. Packages of Philadelphia Lite (1/3 less fat) Cream Cheese
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 ½ Tubes Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
Blueberries and Strawberries to garnish

Preheat oven to 350

Spray 15x9 Jelly Roll Pan lightly with cooking spray

Press 1 ½ tubes of Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough into the pan

Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Let Cool.

Melt 2 large Hershey Symphony Bars in microwave and spread over the cooled cookie crust.

Place in refrigerator to chill until chocolate layer is hard.

Whip 2 8oz packages of cream cheese with the granulated sugar. Spread over hardened chocolate

Top with strawberry slices and blueberries for a patriotic treat. One of my favorite desserts!

*This dessert is good for July and beyond. Any fruit can be substituted for the strawberries and blueberries. Bananas are especially delicious as are raspberries.
