Quick and Easy Valentine's Day Romance Tips for Guys
Short on Time? No Worries; Surprise Your Sweetheart at the Last Minute
Send a romantic text message.
You arrive at work, only to be reminded that it's Valentine's Day. There isn't much you can do now--but during your next break from work, let your sweetheart know that you are thinking of her. Send a romantic text, if only to say, "I love you" or "Happy Valentine's Day". Maybe build up some suspense by hinting at what's to come.
Prepare a bubble bath and a glass of champagne.
Pick up a bottle of bubbly after work, and perhaps some yummy-smelling bubble bath. Close the door and let your honey relax in the tub for a while with some peace and quiet, and a glass of champagne.
Do some quick housecleaning.
Who doesn't like to come home to a clean house? If you arrive home before your sweetie does, give the place a quick run-through so she can relax when she comes home.
Give her a break and cook dinner yourself.
While she is resting in the bathtub, start preparing a dinner for two (or more, if you have children). It doesn't have to be anything fancy, as long as you put some effort into the task. Light a couple candles and play classical music to set the mood.
Give her a whole-body massage.
Before bedtime, prepare a comfortable area on the floor where your sweetie can lie face-down. Give her a couple pillows to rest on. Start massaging her back, then work your way to her arms, legs, and even her head. Warm massage oils work really well for giving a whole-body massage.
Order flowers ahead of time.
Next year, be prepared for the special day. Order a bouquet of flowers days, or even weeks, in advance and have them delivered to her. Or, if you want to really impress her, order a bouquet of edible fruit. You can do this for her birthday, your anniversary, or any other special occasion. Now sit back, relax, and wait for the big day.
