Halloween costumes can be quick. These are 5 quick Halloween costumes for adults who forgot their Halloween costumes.

Quick Halloween Costume: Miss Information

For this quick Halloween costume, get a blank name tag and write "Hello, My Name is Miss Information." Wear mismatched clothing (black and red sock, button down shirt and a sarong). Give people wrong information (point to the bathroom and say it's the kitchen, announce the wrong time). Repeat famous misinformations (There are no American combat troops in Cambodia. We have found weapons of mass destruction.) Make odd claims (The Detroit Lions are the best football team ever. You can't go wrong buying a Chrysler Sebring.) If people ask what you do in real life, tell them you work for US Airways.

Quick Halloween Costume: Census Taker

This quick Halloween costume needs casual clothing and a clip board. Ask people how many people live in their home, and how many bathrooms they have. Wax enthusiastic about the Census Taker - Internet Data Collection System. Say you're so relieved it's almost 2010 because you don't know what to do with yourself in non -census years. Steer every conversation back to the definition of group quarters and whether this would apply to a household with a family of 6 and 3 boarders. If people start moving away from you and your quick Halloween costume, follow them into other rooms knocking on the door and announcing you're from the census.

Quick Halloween Costume: Swine Flu

For this quick Halloween costume, draw or glue a picture of a pig onto a t-shirt. Wear an old bathrobe, slippers and mess up your hair. Use blush to redden your nose. Stuff cold medicines in your pockets, carry tissues, and pretend to spray a nasal decongestant at regular intervals.

Quick Halloween Costume: Freudian Slip

For this quick Halloween costume, wear a slip and write "Freudian" in magic marker across the chest. Wear it over a t shirt and pants if that feels more comfortable. Whatever anyone says, reply by saying, "How does that make you feel." Initiate free association games and get people to talk about their dreams so you can analyze them.

Quick Halloween Costume: Spy

For this quick Halloween costume, wear a trenchcoat, dark glasses and a hat pulled down over your eyes. Carry a small camera and pretend to take pictures surreptitiously. Get spy movie ringtones such as the Mission Impossible theme and Dr. NO for your mobile (soundboard.com/sb/Spy_Movie).

I'm leaning towards either Miss Information or Freudian Slip. My husband once threw on a sheet and tied a bunch of hangman's nooses around his neck. What was he? A well-hung ghost.

Oh my goodness, these are all absolutely HILARIOUS! I keep imagining the looks you'd get from people, spurting off random facts, or saying "How does that make you feel?" It just cracks me up! This was such a fun read. :-)
