Meaty Stromboli is always a favorite if you want to make it without the meat that is fine as well, however I recommend giving it a try with the meat. First you want to start with your favorite dough or make it from scratch, I have done both depending on the time. Many grocery stores and bakeries will sell the dough already made and ready to go. Then you will need to visit your local groceries deli and ask for the following per Stromboli 5 slices each of ham, pepperoni, salami, hot ham, and provolone cheese. A green pepper, onion, can of black olives, shredded mozzarella cheese and sauce. First start by dicing up the onion, green pepper and black olives. Then get your self a rolling pin and roll the dough out nice and thin; a standard piece of dough will usually stretch out to about 14 inches in diameter. In the center lay down a thin line of ham, then pepperoni, salami, hot ham and the provolone cheese. Sprinkle with the green pepper, onion and black olives and finally top off with a good handful of the shredded cheese. Fold the top half of the dough over to meet in the middle and then the bottom half. Cut three slits in the top of the dough and brush the crust with butter. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees till the dough is a golden brown. Slice and serve with the sauce as a dip.
Buffalo Chicken dip, yum I have never yet met a person who doesn't enjoy this and ask me to make it for every occasion. Its simple, easy to make and so good. Your going to need 4 boneless skinless chicken breast, a box of cream cheese, franks buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, and a bag of tortilla chips. Start by frying the chicken breast in a pan until thoroughly cooked. Then using a food processor grind the chicken, and add to a large bowl. Next add the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of franks hot wing sauce, this is important make sure that you have the one that says hot wing sauce and not the plain hot sauce. Next stir in 1 cup of ranch dressing and 1 cup of the shredded cheese. Mix all ingredients together and spread into a large baking pan, top with another cup of the shredded cheese and bake at 350 degrees till golden brown and melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips and enjoy.
