Quick Pee Break Ends the Race for One on Amazing Race 14

Last week's Amazing Race left us with a cliffhanger as Kisha/Jen struggled at the Detour and Phil handed Cara/Jaime their clue to continue the leg. They weren't too happy but were forced to stay in Beijing, China and battle it out for their final three spot. Jaime/Cara weren't as upset as I thought but Margie/Luke weren't enjoying the continuation. They were frustrated that they had to stay on the road and Margie was just overall crabby. After arriving at their location from Phil, Jaime/Cara had to search for the Travelocity Roaming Gnome. Oh product placement. Margie and Luke arrived next, also on the hunt while Tammy/Victor received their clue from Phil. I bet they were happy to stay in China! Jen/Kisha were probably the most happy out of the four teams, considering they weren't going home. Jen couldn't believe it, but they were just lucky they didn't have to put up with a speed bump!

Now with all four teams looking for the gnome it was going to decide how they move on. Margie/Luke found the first and were told to move on and find an electric bicycle. Jaime/Cara found theirs next, keeping the two pal teams rather close in the end. After Tammy/Victor and Jen/Kisha found their gnomes it was off to the Forbidden City, which only Tammy/Victor knew about. They were able to arrive their first and found their bikes, which took them awhile to realize it was electric. Margie/Luke arrived next followed by Jen/Kisha, putting Jaime/Cara in last after coming in fake first. After finding the clue, Tammy and Victor were told to do their next Detour. Either Opera, where they had to be a princess and gentleman or Waiter where they had to recite orders in Mandarin. Seems like Tammy/Victor will have the advantage considering they already speak Mandarin.

Kisha/Jen were able to pass Margie/Luke on the bikes and both were off to dressing up at the opera house. Jaime/Cara were last to the taxis and realized they were back at the bottom yet again. At the restaurant Tammy and Victor had no problem getting most of the foods right but misunderstood fish as squid. Guess they can't speak it as well as they though. Kisha/Jen then arrived at the Opera house followed by Margie/Luke. Margie kept getting annoyed with Luke as he wasn't doing the makeup correctly. Luke then got mad at her for moving and claimed to be finished. Um yeah, why would you be finished for someone moving their face? Pressure can't be THAT high can it? It seems Jen/Kisha were still in the game though as they both finished the makeup while Margie was still getting hers done while Tammy/Victor also finished their task.

On their way to the Detour, Jaime/Cara sung to tell the taxi to go to the Opera. It seems to work but they aren't there yet and could have some trouble considering a U-Turn is back in play, and this time it isn't blind. It wasn't used on them though as Tammy/Victor U-Turned Jen and Kisha, forcing them to do the Mandarin task. They wanted to see them eliminated and it could just work. Jaime/Cara were really lost though as they went to the wrong Opera house and still have to do their Detour and with Tammy/Victor getting their Road Block they are pretty far behind. The task is for one team member to each bugs and starfish. Once finished, they would get their next clue. Victor took the task and didn't seem to have too many problems with the bugs. Everyone else was still searching for the U-Turn, giving Tammy and Victor a great lead for the final leg as they will obviously make the final three.

Cara/Jaime were still in last and jumped into a taxi even if they didn't know where they were going. While they did that, Victor ate away and seemed to enjoy the grasshoppers while Kisha/Jen still had trouble finding the U-Turn. After finally arriving at the Opera House, Jaime/Cara began their makeup while Tammy/Victor finished the Road Block and were off to the Pit Stop. Hopefully its the real one this time. They knew exactly where it was thanks to being at the Olympics so once again, they have an advantage. Thanks to their "amazing" makeup skills, Jaime/Cara finished the Detour and were off to find the U-Turn which the other teams still couldn't find. It turns out the U-Turn was right inside the Opera House they came out of as Margie/Luke found it, happily going to the Road Block knowing that Kisha/Jen were U-Turned.

At the REAL Pit Stop, Tammy and Victor checked in and that made them the first team moving on to final leg. While they relaxed, Jen/Kisha went back to the Opera House to retrace their steps... good choice girls! Margie then found the Road Block and realized she was eating while Jen/Kisha headed off to the restaurant to complete the rest of their Detour. Cara/Jaime continued being lost while Margie stumbled on the food while Ken/Kisha stumbled on the food names. Margie finally finished eating, and did a good job at doing so, placing them in second and leaving one of the two all female teams out at the final four. After serving the food, Kisha/Jen were off tot he Road Block with Jaime/Cara still searching for their next clue. Jaime continued to complain about the language, and it will probably be the last episode she gets to do so.

Jaime/Cara finally got the clue by retracing their steps while Jen had to eat the local Chinese food. The other two ladies then headed off to the Road Block, fighting with each other as things weren't looking good. Now that Cara was also eating, Jen picked up the pace. It was make or break for them as whoever finished eating first would claim that final spot in race. Jen finished just in time, putting Kisha/Jen off to find a taxi to see Phil, just as Cara finished. It was now a taxi race off to Phil, well almost as Cara almost forgot the Travelocity gnome Luckily they remembered, keeping the final race to the Pit Stop pretty tense. Jen actually took the time to pee before checking in, giving Jaime/Cara the chance as they arrived while she was in the porta potty. The two then searched for Phil around the big arena but Jaime/Cara found him first, placing them in third thanks to a pee break. Kisha and Jen were probably the better of the two to win the race in the end but who knows, maybe Jaime and Cara will prove us all wrong in the final leg.
