Quick project to improve home curb appeal don't have to be costly, take a lot of time or energy. These are the things we often don't even notice about our own home. Other's will quickly notice what you have done and likely comment on it.

Upgrade your house numbers. You can buy stick on numbers, buy special plates or purchase something more showy and expensive. House numbers come in many styles including metallic, traditional, sleek and modern, bright or plain black or white. You make the choice.

Do you ever think about your mailbox except to hope it doesn't contain any bills when you open the door? Why not check out today's mailboxes or paint and decorate the one you already have.

Have you noticed how solar lights give yards some drama at night? Go to your local home and garden store to find solar lights in bronzes or black - of varying heights, brightness and costs. They are easily installed and don't require any work but sticking them in the ground.

Maybe your front door has seen its better days. Do you need an entire new door or do you just need to decide upon a new color of paint and choose new hardware. Take a walk around the hardware section and decide what you like best.

Shutters can compliment your home and add a punch of color. Adding shutters to your home is similar to wearing your favorite piece of jewelry, as they complete the look you want.

Does your front step have a handle? Not only can a great handle enhance the look of your whole house, but it can make entry to your home much easier for the elderly and those with other climbing concerns. Look into purchasing the new composite handles that require little or no maintenance.

Summer is the time to repair your broken up driveway or to paint your home. These tasks are especially important if you plan to sell your home in the near future. However, you may need professionals to do the job correctly and for the best results.
