So, the simplest and easiest cleansing ritual in the world:
Take a shower.
I know, I know... "Nathara," you're thinking "I do that ALL the freaking time and my energy is still all dingy!" The difference is, we're going to take a shower with intent. Now, I am specifically saying SHOWER and not BATH. Once upon a time when the ancients felt they needed a spiritual cleansing, they would often visit waterfalls and would see and know that, while the water was washing away the dirt and grime, it was also washing away spiritual dirt and grime.
In our modern times, we conveniently have a waterfall built in everyone's home - so let's use it! Do you're normal hair and body routine, but then just stand under the water and concentrate on your breathing. See the water taking away the dirty energy, the spots on your aura, and see how it leaves through the drain. Personally, I love to use ice cold water for this part - something about the cold water just makes it cleaner and clearer, but if you can't take that, it's okay.
For a 'big' cleansing, I like to do this at night, before midnight - that way you aren't carrying that energy into the next day, but it's a good ritual - and simple enough - to repeat every single time you take a shower and will make you feel a WHOLE lot better.
Now - why not a bath? Not only will you be soaking in 'human soup' as a friend of mine likes to say, but you'll also be soaking in your own energies. Now if your energies are good, that's fantastic! But if you're dealing with negatives, you REALLY don't want to be soaking in them. Simple as that.
