Downloading Your Joomla Template

To begin, you will need to look through the different template sites and find a template you want to use. You will need to download the template to your computer and unzip the file. Once you have unzipped the file, you are ready to install it on your site.

Installing Joomla Templates

You will now need to login to the admin panel of your Joomla website. Once you are logged in, look for the Installer tab which is located at the top of the admin panel. Place your mouse on the Installer tab and a menu will expand. In this menu, you will need to click Templates > Site.

Once the page reloads, click the Browse button. That will open a folder and you will need to search your computer for the template you unzipped. Once you have found the template, click it, and click the OK button.
