However, my hair is also thin and baby fine so it needs product to make it appear thicker. Unfortunately, not just any product will do. Many of those on the market aren't really made for dry, color-treated hair; much less for curls.
That's why I turned to Quidad - - the curl experts - - to find the right product. I chose their Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel. It not only defines curls and adds volume; it also tames frizz and fly away hair to keep it looking healthy and manageable.
This is an unusual styling product. It contains a wheat protein that actually lets the hair breathe along with the humidity. In fact, it uses humidity it to is advantage instead of letting it take control. It penetrates the hair shaft with all-day hydration to keep hair looking shiny and healthy.
Added vitamin A nourishes the hair. Amino acids help protect it from damage caused by elements like heat from the sun or caused from blow-drying.
Ingredients include almond glycerides, chamomilla recuttia extract, fragrance, fruit extract, henna leaf extract, hydrolyzed wheat protein and wheat amino acids. They also include crosspolymer propylene glycol, dimethicone, dimethicone polyquaternium-28, hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-12, PEG-40, PEG-60, PG-26-bureth-25, PVP-DMAPA acrylates copolymer, retinyl palmintate and tocopheryl acetate.
To use Quidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel, begin with clean, conditioned hair. Gently squeeze away all excess water. Blot dry with another towel. Then follow Quidad's "rake and shake" instructions as noted below.
Divide the hair into several sections. Three to four sections are sufficient for short hair; four to six for medium hair and between four and eight are good for very long hair.
Next put a nickel size amount of Quidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel into the palm of the hands and rub them together. Work through the hair in each section.
Next, using the fingers, form a rake and immediately work the gel completely through each section individually. Start at the scalp and continue to the ends of the hair.
Once raking is complete, gather the hair at the tip and shake it gently. This helps to spring curls back into place.
Continue the process until every section has been covered. Then let the hair fall into its natural style. You can blow it dry or let it air dry as desired.
Be sure to avoid getting Quidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel in the eyes. If it should occur, get rinse eyes thoroughly. If stinging or irritation continues, report to an ER facility or contact a physician.
Animals are not used to test any Quidad product. All packaging is recyclable.
Quidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel is manufactured by Quidad Products LLC. It and other Quidad products are sold on Home Shopping Network as well as through the company's website.
Quidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel in my new favorite hair product. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
