Quiet the soul speaks in softened tone,
releasing all pain from the past.
Forgiving to bring in beauty,
rather than hiding beneath a gray sky, overcast.

The pain I myself, may have created,
I know I must let it all go.
We are explorers in a world of emotion,
self-discovery, always learning, we grow.
Reversing pain, taking away tears,
that have washed over the years,
tragedy and misconception,
heartache and deception.
Resting now, peacefully,
once it is voiced to set it free.
