The Polka Dot is located at 2043 East Main Street in Quincy, California. There is not much to do or see in Quincy. The Polka Dot is one of the only places to eat in town but even in a big town it would be the best place to eat.
The Polka Dot may be a small spot. You order outside at a window and have to sit at a picnic bench. But the menu is large. The Polka Dot has every kind of fry such as french fries, onion rings, fried zucchini, mozzarella sticks, and more. They also have a complete collection of hamburgers. Any food you might think would be at a burger joint they have.
Besides having lots of food choices they also have lots of deserts. They have all kinds of sluhies, ice creams, sundaes, ice cream sodas, and the list goes on. If you might find it at an ice cream parlor or old soda fountain they will have it here.
Besides having lots of food options the food is all very good. The food is also very reasonably priced. While there is no indoor seating the outdoor picnic area is great. There is a little stream that runs through the picnic area that little kids and big love to run into. The water is always cold because it comes from melted snow in the mountains. The stream fills great on your feet even if it is cold. Kids love to sit out at one of the picnic benches. Kids can run around on the grass and burn off some steam. If you do not want to sit outside you can always eat in your car or get your meal to go.
My family has been eating at the Polka Dot for generations. I think that the Polka Dot is about the best thing about Quincy. Whenever I have to go to Quincy the one positive thing is that I will get to eat at the Polka Dot maybe even two meals if I have to stay long enough.
