Quit Whining Maurice Jones-Drew

Maurice Jones-Drew thinks that the media picks on the Jaguars. I don't know - maybe they do, may the don't. Jones-Drew has come out and said the Jag's are working their tales off the in camp so the media will stop picking on them.

In a related story, Fox Sport's on MSN did a story about feel good stories at camps and players to root for. Kassim Osgood was one of those players. He was formerly a special teams player for the Chargers and a pretty good one at that but Osgood wants to the #2 WR in Jacksonville.

Osgood has caught 33 passes over the past 8 years in what has obviously been a limited role at wide receiver.

My point: When a guy who has caught 33 passes over the past 8 years in the NFL is vying for the #2 WR spot on your team the media has an obligation to the fans to pick on you anytime they can.

Osgood maybe the next best thing since Randy Moss in the WR world but until he shows that in September through January how about you, Maurice Jones-Drew, work on not losing the last five games of the year because that takes real talent.
