This weeks quote is in regards to food, since we just had Thansgiving and most of us had some hot rolls or bread of some kind with our dinner. I could not agree more that the butter is what makes bread taste so yummy, but I love "hot" bread anyway at all.

Douglas Jerrold was born in 1803 in London and died in 1857 at 54 years of age. This gentleman was wildly known for his brilliant wit, but was an English dramatist as well as a writer and sometime actor. At the age of 10 he joined the Navy and was disallusioned by the way the sailors were treated by their commanders, This resulted in a hatred for authority that lasted throughout his life. At 12 he becames a printer's apprentice but his love of writing to write a play by the age of 14 called "More Frightened Than Hurt." It was done on the stage of Sadler's Well theatre. He continued to write both farces and drama for the stage throughout his short life. His last play was written in 1884 only a few years before he died at home in London, England.
