Quote of the Week, Margaret Thatcher

The "Iron Lady" Liked Having Things Her Own Way

I've chosen a very special lady this time who was known to be tough and yet caring. I think a lot of men would say their wives would like this quote. I know my husband would say this about me and he could be right. Grin!

"I am extraordinarily patient, provided I get my own way in the end. "

by Margaret Thatcher

Margaret Thatcher became the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom when the Conservatives Party took over in 1979. Often referred to as the "Iron Lady" because she was tough talking and sometimes difficult, she was also the first women to become the head of the conservative part. Unfortunately she has is no longer in the political scene as she has suffered from several small strokes that have left he with no short term memory it is said. She was born in 1925 in Grantham which is in Lincolnshire, England and was married then widowed from her husband Sir Denis Thatcher who dies in 2003.They had two children Mark and Carol.
