And there you have it, robritt. Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams, etc., all knew what big, centralized government was capable of -- experiencing it firsthand. Many tend to mentally deny the existence of Jefferson, et. al., previous to their roles as founders, but those gentlemen grew up, were educated, and worked under, with, around, and/or within the British government prior to their days as framers of our republic. Most governments, including our own, fit Jefferson's definition of "big enough" these days...
I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. My hubby is not doing well, especially after his recent surgery for cancer on that arm again., besides his mind is not working right since the last stroke and it take almost constant care to look after him.
