A quote for all you writers to appreciate!
"The pages are still blank, but there is a miraculous feeling of the words being there, written in invisible ink and clamoring to become visible."
by Vladimir Nabokov
Vladimir Nabokov was born in St Petersburg, Russia in 1899 and died in Switzerland in 1977. He was a professor, a lepidopterist(some one interested in butterflies, insect with four wings and the field of entomology), interested in chess, and a writer of novels.
He was the son of a politician and from a very rich family. His most famous was book was probably "Lolita" which he wrote in 1955 but he wrote many books in both Russian and English.

Post a CommentAnother great quote. As a child, I used to enjoy writing invisible messages, then heating them up to become visible.
Inspirational as always. Thank You fer sharin'. Mizpah. ;-}}>
Your wisdom is never ending my friend.
Powerful imagery. Reminds me of what sculptors say about the figure hidden within the stone waiting to be chiseled out...
Very good quote of the week. Thanks!
I like this and I wish it'd work in reverse, with writers being able to decide which visible words could become invisible, if the writers changed their minds. That is why I am grateful for the self-publish, display only option :)
