I recently paid a visit to the auditorium that is named after a cable company called the "Qwest Center." The overall appearance of the place is comparable to an institution for the mentally ill. The outside of the building even looks unwelcoming as if it were a nuclear plant rather than a events venue. Once inside the venue people will direct you around as if the place is an entire continent, although the zoo in here is almost 5 times the size of the pathetic square footage of the Qwest Center.
Also there is a place inside that they call a club. However, if you are not a member you are not allowed to enter and you will be informed that by the rudest staff you have ever met. I was told to "please leave" just for asking how I could get a drink inside the place. Not to mention the fellow saying this in such a rude manner even though he would probably not be allowed in the place unless he was working, talk about PRIDE!
Overall the building is unimpressive for the taxes that were raised to fund the the venue and the only nice part is the tile, in my opinion. The service is terrible and the staff working is about as brutal as a Nazi.
Qwest is a company that most people in Omaha wouldn't even if it were free. Everyone I know personally goes through COX because they offer a great service for the price. I mean you can pay whatever you want for you entertainment but when it comes to paying for a concert at the Qwest Center BEWARE you have to pay for parking and the service is at best, TERRIBLE!

The company obviously has not idea about ethics and customer service. If the company cared they would not treat their customers like they were trash. This is the experience that most people are getting at the Qwest Center that will pride themselves on customer service which they lacking.
