Rachael Ray Life Lesson #1 - Keeping continuously busy can make things go much faster.
There are times when watching Rachael Ray cook is just tiring in and of itself. However, she is a testament to just how much you can get done if you just don't stop. If you ran around like she does all day, there is no telling what you could accomplish. The days, weeks, months, and years would go even faster than they do now.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #2 - You can find interest in just about anything and turn it into a themed meal.
On one show, she turned chili, corn pancakes, and a peach dessert and turned it into a NASCAR themed meal. She proves that with a little imagination, you can turn just about anything into a themed meal.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #3 - You truly can cook just about anything in 30 minutes.
There are many times in which Rachael Ray creates an appetizer, a main course, and a light dessert all in under 30 minutes. All it takes is some planning and a little know-how. She is demystifying cooking for a whole new generation, one that doesn't want to spend all day in the kitchen.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #4 - Perkiness has its limits, but it can be fascinating.
Many people don't like Rachael simply due to the fact that she is so darn perky. Where Martha is complex, soft-spoken, and calm, Rachael is high-energy, perky, and fun. Her perkiness can get to you after a while, but it is fascinating to watch. One of the biggest realizations that you may come to when watching Rachael Ray is that none of her personality is fake. She really is that perky and high-energy. That is what is so fascinating.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #5 - Talking continuously really does make the time go by faster.
It is unbelievable just how quickly her half-hour television show flies by. This is due to her incessant talking. Whether she is gathering things from the fridge or setting peaches on fire, she just doesn't quit talking the entire time. It can be like listening to a high school girl on the phone.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #6 - You don't have to be perfect to be a great cook or hostess.
Rachael Ray is very down to earth and is by no means perfect. However, she manages to be a great cook and hostess, all within a short period of time.
Rachael Ray Life Lesson #7 - With a little work, you can dress up just about anything, and it still won't be complicated.
You might be stuck making the same old entrees using the same old recipes and techniques. However, watching Rachael Ray can inspire you to dress things up a little bit. It doesn't take much to really make an inspired dish, and as Rachael Ray proves, it doesn't have to be complicated or take much time. If you take the time to watch Rachael Ray, or buy one of her cookbooks, you will be surprised at what you pick up.
It doesn't matter whether you enjoy her talk show or her cooking show, whether you love to cook or not, there are many Rachael Ray life lessons to be learned. Watch and learn.
