Rachel McAdams: Heck of an Actress

She's Beautiful, She's Talented, and She's Not Insane

Hey, who's the girl in The Notebook? Wait a minute; she's in the Wedding Crashers movie as well, right? You bet your bananas, it's the actress by the name of Rachel McAdams.

Wow, she's gorgeous, isn't she? I don't know about you guys, but I believe she's the kind of girl that reminds everybody of someone they know personally, but nobody can ever put a finger on whom exactly that is. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Does anyone, ever?

Perhaps Miss Rachel McAdams will come to her senses and leave that Ryan Gosling fellow, and come running into my arms. I'm not so sure my girlfriend would appreciate it, though. How would one handle that sort of situation? Rachel McAdams, whom I had never met before in my lifetime, just jumped into my arms. Common, you can't tell me you guys don't think about this stuff.

The one thing most find hard not to like about Rachel McAdams is that even with her outstanding beauty and talent, she's not crazy. It seems that a lot of actresses these days, once they find out from the media that they're sexy and wanted by millions of men, have neurons that are inadvertently trained to trigger the brain to make weird comments about matters they know nothing about. Sometimes, their sexual preference may even change because of it. How does it happen? The world rejoices that Rachel doesn't seem to exhibit any similar trends.

Here's what I do know, though. Heck, we know enough about stars these days to call them all our friends, or at least pretty decent acquaintances, however one sided the relationship may be. You have access to when and where they were born via the internet within seconds. If I was on IMDB, I'd be a little uneasy about it, wouldn't you? I wonder how Rachel McAdams, the popular, sexy actress feels about it.

Rachel McAdams was born on October 7, 1976, making her 32 at the time this article was published. She's five feet and five inches tall, a beautiful average height actress. You certainly can't go wrong there. By the time she was thirteen years old, she was performing in plays from Shakespeare, and many other comparable play-writes at the "Original Kids Theatre Company" in London, Ontario.

Thank heavens she changed her mind before she went to college about what to major in. She initially thought it was a joke to major in Theatre. But, her drama teacher, hallelujah, convinced her to think otherwise. Now, lucky for us, we can find her on the big screen every once in a while. How did she get there? York University. Not only does she have the looks, she has the brains like no other.

Rachel's first venture in the film industry was appearing in a Disney Channel show called "The Famous Jett Jackson." From there she went on to capture roles that we know her for today, like The Notebook, Mean Girls, and Wedding Crashers.

You've got to start somewhere, right? Her father is a truck driver, and McAdams actually worked at McDonalds for three summers, so she's certainly a subscriber to the theory. And, as McDonalds inspires most people to do these days, she became a vegetarian. Then, she changed her mind. Oh, and then she changed her mind again. If you're lost, she's a vegetarian.

Rachel McAdams is consistently listed in Maxim's Hot 100 Women list, in all of its variations (sometimes they like to call it different things, just for fun), and not without merit. I think most, if not all men, would agree that she has every right to be on the list. Every right.

May the Rachel McAdams actress/goddess forever be "The Notebook Girl," for the one image that many men simply cannot get out of their heads is the kiss scene in the rain, and how much they'd like to be that guy with the beard (Ryan Gosling), reaping the goodness.
