Rachel Ray Nutrish Dog Food

Chen Salis
Rachel Ray, the well known television personality, has recently unveiled a fantastic brand of dog food called Rachel Ray Nutrish premium dog food. We were lucky enough to score three free samples of Rachel Ray's Nutrish made with real chicken and veggies. This dog food is 100% balanced and complete nutrition that is designed for overall health and nutrition for dogs. In this review I will focus on Rachel Ray Nutrish compared to less expensive brands of dog foods. In an effort to help other dog owners make an informed buying decision the next time they consider switching brands of dog food.

The main ingredient in Rachel Ray Nutrish dog food is real chicken, followed by whole grains and veggies. This brand of premium dog food does not contain any by products or fillers, it has no artificial preservatives or flavors. This dog food is ideal for all sizes of dogs, it contains fibers such as oatmeal making it easy to digest, it contains calcium for strong teeth and bones. It has antioxidant nutrients such as selenium and vitamin e for a healthy immune system, omega fatty acids and extra virgin olive oil for a shiny, healthy and luxurious coat. Rachel Ray Nutrish is also made with high quality proteins to promote muscle mass and healthy organs.

Rachel Ray Nutrish dog food meets the Association of American Feed Control Officials levels of standards, it is ideal for all breeds of dogs and all life stages. My dogs loved this dog food! They sat up and begged for more, but unfortunately Rachel Ray Nutrish premium dog food is not available in my area yet. Due to this fact I cannot offer any idea of the price of this dog food, but I think it is probably well worth the price for its high level of nutrition and ingredients, and for how popular this food was with my boys! I will be watching the shelves of my local Kroger grocery store for this brand of dog food to become available. I would also recommend this dog food to anyone who likes feeding their dogs a high quality dog food made with ingredients that are natural. This dog food is in a small pellet form, and it has enough variety to please even the pickiest of dogs! An added bonus is that a portion of the proceeds of each bag purchased goes to benefit dogs involved in the Rachel's Rescue program.

We received a sample pack in the mail. I read the front of the package and it stated:
    * No chicken by-product meal or filler
    * No artificial color or preservatives

So, I flip the package over and started to read the list of ingredients and WHAT DID IT SAY?
CHICKEN MEAL and the more I read, the more it proved that this is CLEARLY a case of False Advertising!!! (Where’s the FTC when they’re needed?)

I would recommend reading an impartial review for the real facts.

I have a question - what is the calorie intake per serving on Nutrish?

Rachel Ray is a good person, but not a nutritionist. The food is not as good as it looks. Not a lot of meat in there. High yearly cost. and thus far it hasnt been to popular since i already saw it reduced to clear at giant eagle (Ohio's version of Krogers). But she is a good person and i do appreciate that all proceeds go to help her animal rescue program.
