Rachel Uchitel Gets $10 Million Payment from Tiger Woods for Her Silence
Rachel is the alleged mistress who was texting with Tiger Thanksgiving night and caused Elin's discovery that Tiger was cheating.
Ten million dollars is an astonishing amount of money to keep the lid on the nitty gritty details of a lapse in marital fidelity. Exactly what was Rachel going to say at the press conference that was cancelled? Tiger had a long relationship with her; did he reveal too much information about his marriage while talking with Rachel?
Rachel Uchitel used Gloria Allred as her attorney. She seems to have gotten quite the deal for Rachel to halt any further statements about Tiger. If Rachel walked away from her romance with Tiger with $10 million, what will Elin Nordegren get if there is a divorce? It seems that her possible payout just got a lot larger.
Mistresses Galore
There are now 15 alleged mistresses. Does this deal mean the other alleged mistresses are being paid off as well? If that is in the works it could end up costing Tiger a lot of money for payments to a lot of women. TMZ notes that some of the other alleged mistresses may have received payments of a few hundred thousands of dollars.
For now the other mistresses are still talking about Tiger. One of them has even pronounced that she will attend the Masters golf tournament in Georgia. That should be quite the spectacle. The media frenzy at the Masters will probably be historic.
Radar Online reports that more women are about to announce that they too were involved with Tiger. Some of them are also claiming that members of his inner social circle were well aware that he was engaging in infidelity. Tiger has claimed that no one knew of his affairs.
Will Tiger's Marriage Last ?
With the ongoing outpouring of news from all of the alleged mistresses is it possible for Elin Nordegren to stay in her marriage with Tiger? Can a wife stay married after hearing her husband has been frolicking with porn stars? That would certainly be a marital deal breaker for most women.
Elin is still appearing in public without her wedding band. She is showing a lot of strength in maintaining normalcy for the children while still holding Tiger at bay until she decides how to proceed.
Elin Nordegren may choose her privacy over public support of Tiger. Time will tell whether she attends the Masters tournament or chooses to stay far away from the media onslaught.
Watching the sordid details of the alleged affairs of Tiger Woods and Jesse James has been eye opening indeed. Infidelity hurts a marriage and it hurts the children. And yet so many men in the public eye have been indulging in reckless affairs. And now the alleged mistresses are demanding apologies and getting payments.
Let's hope whatever decisions they make that Elin and Sandra will go on to find far happier times than they are having now. As for the alleged mistresses...well...when you start an affair with a married man it is always a mistake.

Tiger Woods paid off this woman to keep her silent and it has not happened!!! This Uchitel woman loves media attention and she cannot stand to be out staged from the limelight by Tiger's other mistresses. Every now and then, she finds a way to make it to the media with some details of the information she was paid to keep from disclosing. I am more than sure that she uses third parties and possible pays them to leak information to the media, while she remains in the background trying to repair her w.h.o.r.e. image. Some people think and I read this somewhere, that she is waiting for Tiger and Elin's marriage to be finally over so she can get back in the scene with Tiger, because she is very greedy and wants access to Tiger's money very badly. I also read that Gloria Allred may have used Jostlyn James to accelerate the divorce of Tiger and Elin for the benefit of Rachel. As you can see there is great incentive ($$$$) and interest here for these shameless, immoral women. Time will tell.
LOL crazy stuff, looks like she was smarter than the other ones - got a lawyer and got there first with her hand out. Less $$$ to get for the rest it would seem, but what else can these gals say that would be more embarrassing than tampongate? He might as well just let them blab away now. The more that do, the less credibility they will eventually have anyway. :)
