Rachel Weisz to Play Jackie Kennedy in New Movie "Jackie"
Jackie - About the Film
The film Jackie is said to focus on the life of Jackie Kennedy during the four days between JFK's assassination and his burial. This is the period of time when the grace and composure of First Lady, and young mother, Jackie Kennedy captured the heart of the world. The film is in preproduction in Hollywood and there is no word yet as to who will be costarring with Weisz in the film. Jackie is already getting a lot of buzz.
Rachel Weisz - About the Actress
Rachel Weisz was born March 7, 1970 in London, England. She is the daughter of a psychoanalyst mother and inventor father. She began modeling at the age of fourteen and began her acting career while studying at Cambridge University. Weisz has had several leading roles in films including The Mummy (1999) and Enemy at the Gates (2001). Weisz won an Academy Award, Golden Globe and SAG for best supporting actress for her role in the 2005 film, The Constant Gardener.
Rachel Weisz currently lives with her fiancé, Darren Aronfsky and their three-year-old son, Henry Chance. There is no word of when Weisz and Aronfsky will marry. The role as Jackie Kennedy is a cue for the British actress and there is talk that the film, Jackie may possibly be "Oscar material". We will have to wait and see. The film is still in the pre production phase and there is no word at this time as to when to expect the movie to be released.
