Mid-range Hotel that Offers Full Amenities

Phoenix, Arizona, lies in the Southwest of the United States. It's a city filled with mountains and deserts, but it has no shortage of modern conveniences like shopping, restaurants, and a large international airport. Sky Harbor Airport is a hub for many airlines, so even if you aren't deliberately in Phoenix on business, you could find yourself stuck there on a layover. The Radisson Phoenix Airport North is a good hotel option if you need one.

The Radisson Hotel North at Phoenix Airport was definitely designed with the business traveler in mind. The work desk area in the rooms is very large, giving room to spread out a computer and any necessary folders you have. The high speed wireless internet is free of charge and works very well. The hotel offers remote printing, faxing and copying services too. The Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport North also offers Business Class Rooms which offer more amenities, such as bathrobes, drink vouchers and copies of the Wall Street Journal.

The Lobby Bar at the Radisson Phoenix Airport North is very popular, especially in the evenings when they serve a happy hour. There is also a restaurant, the 44th Street Café, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service from morning until night. They offer a variety of cuisine whether you are looking for something simple or a full meal for a business dinner, focusing on Southwestern food. The buffet breakfast is served in the mornings is transformed into a soup and salad bar each afternoon and evening.

At Radisson's Phoenix Airport North hotel you will also find laundry service, an ATM, a fitness center, a heated outdoor pool and a whirlpool. All guests receive complimentary parking and copies of USA Today delivered to their door. This hotel is also a member of the GoldsPointsPlus program so you can earn frequent traveler points.

One caution about the Radisson Hotel North at Phoenix Airport is the Sleep Number beds. While that may sound like a wonderful thing that you don't find at most hotels, it's not if you've never used one before. The hotel supplied no instructions or information, just a proud sign that they have Sleep Number beds. Beware of getting into bed ready to sleep and finding you have the world's most uncomfortable bed when you are too tired to deal with it! Read up or ask questions when you arrive so you can enjoy this extra special amenity. Though the whole idea is to adjust it to your personal needs, if you start turning it all the way up and adjust it down, you should be able to find a comfort zone that works.

The Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport North is located just one mile from Phoenix International Airport and a free shuttle is offered to the airport every 20 minutes. The hotel is also less than ten miles from the Arizona Science Center, the Arizona Diamondbacks' Chase Field and Arizona State University. You will also find two golf courses less than three miles away.
