Ragan is clearly disappointed and resigned to the reality of this situation, choosing not to spend the last moments in the house trying to campaign. Instead, he spends most of his time drinking alone and having a heart to heart discussion with himself.
On the game in general, he says, "These 60 days have been some of the most rewarding gifts I've ever been given. I don't take a single moment for granted...even when I was melting down." Clearly emotional, Ragan has empathy for the live feeders, or those who watch the houseguests online. He admits that he thought the whole experience would be much different than he thought as a fan. Before being chastised by Big Brother for talking about production, Ragan says, "The competitions are much longer than they look on television."
But Ragan isn't completely morose about the situation he is in, keeping up his "scatalogical" humor about fart jokes and going to the bathroom. In fact, he balances his sense of humor with deep thoughts, confessing that, "I'm a lot strong than I have ever given myself credit for. I have spend the last 34 years underestimating myself and being intimidated by people who are bigger and smarter than me. I have underestimated myself at every turn. As corny as it seems. the 1st endurance with the surf boards, for me to do what i did in that challenge, that was a turning point for me (not in the game), but in life."
There is clearly a rift in the game, with Lane, Britney, Hayden and Enzo keeping company and Ragan spending most of the night talking to either himself or his "fans." Whether or not Ragan is correct when he says, "I really really think if I made it past this week, I would have won," we will find out tomorrow whether he will make it past this week.
The houseguests may be entering the home stretch, reflecting on their experiences and how long this journey has been. Viewers wait with the same expectation for a wrap up of what appears to be a very predictable end of a week into the final four.
