Raggedy Ann Halloween Makeup

Monica Bullock
Raggedy Ann is a beloved character from books who hit it big in the 1970s. As a stuffed cotton doll, Raggedy Ann had a bright, adorable look that children love and grown-ups love. If you have the costume or are making one, finish off your look with the perfect Raggedy Ann makeup application. Dressed as this clever doll, you will be the hit of the Halloween party. Put your makeup on before you put on your red wig.

Apply light colored makeup to your face. For children, no makeup is necessary but a smooth translucent powder would be good. It is important to have a smooth doll-like finish to your face. If you have bushy eyebrows, you should consider trimming them or covering them with makeup.

Pencil your eyebrows into a thin slightly arched brow. Use a black eyebrow pencil to get the right look.

Brush your eyelid with a light white or sand color. Brush on pink or light red eyeshadow to the lower lid.

Line the top and bottom eyelids. Then draw Raggedy Ann's makeup under the eyes. Draw four short vertical lines with black eyeliner. Apply mascara to your lashes.

Swirl red blush to the apples of your cheeks. You can get cartoonish with the color or just use a slight red color for a romantic look.

Cover your lips with liquid makeup. Draw a small circle in the center of the lips using a red lip liner. Color in the circle using red lipstick and a lip brush.

Draw an arc upwards on either side of the circle to get Raggedy Ann's lip look.

Use your red lip liner to draw a red triangle on your nose. Color in the triangle with red lipstick or a red lip liner. Liner will stay better.
