Holding on to the sides as the other things spin ramptly out of control.
The inner peace she grasped keeps her till the break of the calm.
Another piece of her heart is poured out into the endless rivers basin.
Carefully, rising in a crecendo the impact was now a fading memory.
She boosts of her courage and is now reconciled to what she always does.
She compels herself with reasonable outrage as she speaks in a wisdom of disdaining corruption.
Her soul now void of dreams she once hastened too.
Her mind now dull and distant with uncaring shadows of faulty memories.
She awaits like a child, hiding until she is faced once again with the rapids.
Her voice now crying out in her desperate hope.
Freedom would be an event she would never forget.
Raging rapids exist on the doorstep of her mind.

Well, Cyn, readers are going to think you are from Colorado instead of Flint with this raging rapids. But I have felt as you illustrate and make come alive, like I'm being carried out of control. To me this is one of your best ones. P.S.: Can't wait for when you can remove that snowstorm avatar, but I guess we're supposed to get another one this week. Can't be as bad as three weeks ago. Can it? -- Mike
