Ragstock is a Great Spot for Used Clothing in Wicker Park, Chicago
Neighborhood: Wicker Park
Chicago, IL 60622
United States of America
Wicker Park in Chicago is home to a few popular thrift stores, including Buffalo Exchange and Crossroads. But if you want to unearth vintage clothing treasures for both men and women, Ragstock is the place to go.

You'll spot Ragstock easily thanks to its funky green and yellow storefront at 1433 N. Milwaukee Avenue. Ragstock focuses almost exclusively on recycled clothing rather than other household items. Focusing on this one particular niche has allowed Ragstock to create a solid identity and to become the best stop for used clothing in Wicker Park.

Ragstock features current popular clothing styles up front on the first floor, along with accessories like sunglasses, knit hats and slipper socks. Toward the back of the store, you start to find vintage styles dating back to the '80s and '90s. Head downstairs and you can find even older items, like hippie clothing from the '60s and bellbottoms from the '70s.

The prices at Ragstock are perhaps not as cheap as a place like the Salvation Army, but Ragstock clothing is still very affordable, with many items selling for under $10.

Ragstock has a handful of locations throughout the Midwest, including two other outlets in Chicago. You can print out a coupon for 25% off one item at the store's website at www.ragstock.com.
