Not fond of the rain
dry hot days are more like me
sunshine makes me smile
dry hot days are more like me
sunshine makes me smile
Flowers and the grass
need the rain it helps them grow
large fresh and greener
It's raining for days
buckets of raindrops falling
under a gray sky
Dreaded rain welcome
relief from the heat and life
for all growing things

I love rain :) Sheri
I love rain, terrific :) Sheri
I like rain showers not a continuous down pour like we're having now. Waiting for the sun.
great imagery. I love rains when it comes after days. Love the smell of the first drenched earth!
Nice one!
Better rain than snow, although it's snowing today.
I love the rain, too--provided it doesn't drag on for days. Beautiful poem!!

It's a vital part of life so why not embrace it afterall, right? Good one.
