Rain: a Poem about Rain. It's raining today, so I wrote a poem about rain with double meaning. It gets better. Sometimes rain is a nice change to a bright sunny day and we can't live without the water provided by rain. Enjoy reading Rain: a Poem about Rain. Do you like rain? Poetry for rainy weather.
Grey skies came
the rain then started
when pouring down
the sunlight waned.
Clouds lifted lighter
as one by one
raindrops departed
haze, misty, sky then parted.
Came tearing through
the sunlight beamed
and rainbow shown
the grass now greener.
Flowers, trees,
like me and you,
have always known
that it gets brighter;
through rivers, seas,
how much we've grown.
