Rainbow Courts in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

When traveling to the beach, there are so many different hotels that you can chose from. I found the Rainbow Courts this year after having to cancel my reservations at another hotel that wasn't up to my standards. It normally isn't a priority to me whether I'm staying oceanfront, or whether I simply have a small view. I normally go by what fits into my budget. Being as how my trip to Myrtle Beach, SC wasn't planned ahead of time, I made it their thinking I wouldn't be able to find a decent room since I hadn't booked it first. To my surprise, Rainbow Courts had plenty of vacancy at a price I could afford.

Rainbow Courts is located at 405 Flagg St. in Myrtle Beach, SC. The hotel is close to the famous "strip", and almost everything you need is in walking distance. Rainbow Courts is not ocean front, but their sister hotel, Emerald Shores, is. Emerald Shores is located right across the street from Rainbow Courts and we were told we could use the pools and lazy river at Emerald Shores as well. Rainbow Courts was very much in my price range. There were four people in our group and we only paid around $60 a night.

The hotel was pretty clean, and more spacious than you would expect it to be for the price. Rainbow Courts has several different buildings as well as cottages and apartments that they rent out for extended stays. There were also several swimming pools that we had access to, as well as snack and drink machines.

The staff at Rainbow Courts were very friendly, and anytime we needed service, they were always there to help. We also got daily room service and color television with cable. The staff made sure that we had plenty of clean linens and they made sure to clean our room daily during our entire stay.

The only downfall that I had about staying at Rainbow Courts was the room I got didn't have a mini fridge. There isn't really much to complain about though, with the price being so reasonable. I simply only had to walk down the steps to get a cold drink from their vending machines.

I would definitely stay at Rainbow Courts and I would recommend it to everyone. I think Rainbow Courts is great for couples of families that are on a budget, but want to visit Myrtle Beach. This is a great, affordable hotel that looks much better than some of the more pricey ones that you will find in Myrtle Beach. For the price, you really can't beat this place. I've seen more expensive hotels that looked way more run-down than Rainbow Courts. Definitely give Rainbow Courts a try the next time you head to Myrtle Beach for a vacation.
