What does Rainbow's End Theme Park Offer Visitors

Rainbow's End offers a good selection of rides that entertain, thrill and produce an adrenalin rush. For the less adventurous there are other rides that are more sedate and enjoyable. Here are some of the main attractions of the theme park:

• The Pirate Ship is a swinging boat that leaves your stomach behind as it swings from side to side

• The Motion Master is a 3D interactive movie experience with hydraulically controlled chairs. Watch a dinosaur movie and flinch as fish and dinosaurs seem to pop out of the screen to attack you. The chair movements make you feel you are flying, sinking and moving through water

• Gold Rush is a rollercoaster that twists through an abandoned gold mine. The drops and twists are not big and this ride can be enjoyed by all ages

• Family Karts comprises of a race track and go-karts. Each kart takes one person and you drive around a circuit that twists and turns

• The Fearfall ride is 18 storeys high. Two cars holding four passengers each rise to the top of the tower before being dropped into a freefall that reaches 80 kilometres per hour. The cars brake shortly before reaching the bottom

• Bumper boats are a watery version of dodgems cars. The boats are surrounded by rubber tubes and riders are encouraged to bump each other

• The Corkscrew rollercoaster rises 90 feet into the air. It includes complete loops and a double corkscrew

• The Log Flume is a water ride that takes passengers through a fairytale land with goblins and other creatures. It is a gentle ride with one large drop at the end

• The Invader is a popular ride and consists of a spinning disc that rides along a track that rises and falls up to 15 metres. Prepare to be whirled and spun while your stomach plunges

• Dodgem cars are old favorites and Rainbow's End has a popular dodgem car section

• Cinema 180 is a 12 minute movie-viewing experience that offers 180 degree views. Be warned that it may cause motion sickness

• Power Surge is a star-shaped ride that twists and turns riders in every direction. Each ride is different and it is billed as aggressive

• Minigolf is a fun 12 hole course that is popular with all ages

• Castleland is the area where rides for under fives are located
