Rainbows Written in the Ice

Michael Skinner
Smashed ice crystals against the cold blue vault of heaven

Stretched the shattered pieces into a veil thin enough and a rainbow will reveal itself

Furrowed ice

Combed cotton candy clouds

Jet Contrails

Shot like an arrow through the heart of the heavens

Shot through the sun

Ice pick through a clear blue sky

A white smoke dagger through ice clouds
